Welcome to another Meet the Maker interview! I’m so excited to introduce you to Natalie Thomas of Detroit Knots! I have spent a lot of time gazing at all of Natalie’s beautiful pictures of her designs on Instagram. She is such a talented and creative designer and I’m always awed by what she’s making! If you haven’t checked out Natalie’s stunning crochet and Tunisian crochet patterns, you’re going to want to snag one or two. Each one is gorgeous and unique. I’m sure you’re going to want to make them all!
Bio
I am a wife, and mom of two awesome daughters. l have always loved to create, but in different ways. This journey began when I needed a gift for an exchange. I searched everywhere for a hat and scarf set in blue. Not finding it anywhere I decided to pick up my hook again and I was hooked (Pun intended). It was a hit and I’ve been creating with yarn ever since.
I have since then discovered a love to Tunisian crochet. It’s a hybrid between knitting and crochet. I love it! Over the years I have perfected my craft, taking the time to improve my skills and learn new ones. I take care to create patterns that you feel good in.

This gorgeous shawl is made with Tunisian crochet and fades smoothly between three colors. The fingering weight yarn gives is a nice lightweight feel and makes it the perfect piece to wear all yarn long.
