Welcome to another Meet the Maker interview! I’m so excited to introduce you to Christine Naugle of Sweet Potato 3! Christine is a talented designer who makes the amazing blankets and wonderful accessories! Her use of beautifully textured stiches is so wonderful! It was also fun to get to know her better and chat about her maker journey!
Bio
Christine Naugle is the designer and owner at Sweet Potato 3 crochet patterns. She finds inspiration for her designs through the beauty, textures and colors found in nature. Christine’s goal when she designs is to create innovative patterns that teach new techniques and skills, improving ones abilities to be confident in their finished projects. She loves the creative process in designing and is dedicated to providing detailed, high-quality patterns. Christine feels blessed to have the opportunity to design crochet patterns for all of you. Her greatest reward is seeing the beautiful work made from one of her designs, so make sure to share it with her by tagging @sweetpotato3patterns on FB or IG. When Christine is not crocheting you can find her spending time with family doing “all things outdoors”. As a mother of 3 active kids and married to an adventurous husband, she can often be found on a whitewater rafting adventure, paddling on a SUP, downhill snow skiing, camping, hiking, biking, or enjoying a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine on our back deck overlooking the mountains in Idaho.

Winter Wishes Scarf
The Winter Wishes Scarf pattern is a classy design of a scarf that has a button keyhole closure. Christine receives compliments on the texture in this design and mentions on how quick it works up when compared to a traditional scarf. Again, this design was so popular that Christine designed coordinating patterns that include keyhole scarf, cowl (triangle scarf), hat, ear warmers.
Sleep Tight Teddy Bear Set
The sleep tight teddy bear set comes with coordinating accessories that include the traditional baby/children’s blanket, a lovey sized blanket, stuffed teddy bear, hat and a pocket pillow.
